Rumson Community Appeal
Rumson Commmunity Appeal is a 503 (c) (3) tax deductible organization dedicated to helping the needs of our community.

Initially started in 1953 by a group of dedicated volunteers, Rumson Community Appeal has raised donations to assist charitable organizations.

100% of the funds that are raised go directly to the following:

  • Oceanic Free Library - for reading and research materials.
  • CPC Behavioral Healthcare - provides residential services and addiction recovery services for children and families in the Monmouth County area.
  • Mental Health Association - family counseling and support programs.
  • Rumson Recreation - supervised sports programs and park maintenance.
  • Interfaith Neighbors - Mobile Meals to elderly homebound neighbors five days a week.
  • SPCA - accepts stray and abandoned animals while offering education and pet services.
  • RFH High School Post Prom - provides a fun and safe environment for our students after the Rumson-Fair Haven High School Prom.
  • Rumson Police DARE Program - educates children on the harmful effects of drugs, alcohol and tobacco.
